The initial movie, directed by Chhabra, featured the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput alongside Sanjana Sanghi. Notably, the film served as Mukesh’s directorial debut and was released posthumously following Sushant’s untimely demise.

Mukesh Chhabra posted on X, simply stating “Dil Bechara 2” without providing much context. However, the response to this idea took an unexpected turn, as it clearly disappointed many fans of Sushant.
